Here’s a simple list of things you should NOT include on or with your resume.

Learn ’em, love ’em, and no matter what — leave them off!

Your resume and job search will be that much better as a result!

• Your picture.
• Your age or birthdate.
• Your Social Security Number.
• Your driver’s license number.
• Your work phone number — unless you are self-employed.
• Your political views, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation.
• The reason you left or are leaving your current position unless specifically requested by an employer.
• Discharge papers from the armed services.
